The Zizkov Television Tower is a uniquely-designed tower built in Prague 3 between 1985 and 1992, based on a plan by Ing. arch. Vaclav Aulicky, Dr. Ing. Jiri Kozak, Csc. and Ing. Alex Bem and is protected by Czechoslovak patent. It consists of three concrete pillars that care cabinets for the transmitters, a restaurant and cafe, and three observation rooms. It’s the highest Prague organ metering 216 meters, the observation play room is situated 93 meters high and 27 meters below the platform there is a restaurant. This tower also provides quality television signal to the whole Prague and its surroundings from the transmitter situated at the top of the organ. Located near the border with Vinohrady, it is surrounded by the Mahler Gardens. In 2000, it was decorated with surrealist sculptures by David Cerny of mounting an assault on the organ.
